Why did you Write 72 Ways to Prepare Alpo & Love it?

Great Question and we’ll be glad to answer it for you.

Dave Ramsey has inspired a great deal pf people to get out of the crushing hold of debt and learn how to live within their means and countless others to live debt free. He has joked many times about people who do not plan for their futures as they should and that they will end up needing the book 72 Ways to Prepare Alpo & Love it

Well this book is meant to be a parody and it is also meant to make those who read it think about their futures. It’s not easy to approach family members and people that you love about their financial situation. They may be spending like congress and digging themselves into a hole that only bankruptcy will bring them out of.

This is a great way to help them wake up and use humor as doing so. Years ago when I met Charlie “Tremendous” Jones, he spoke about using humor to get to the core of a person. People remember things that are funny and if you break in that humor and give them a dose of reality, it will stick in their minds and may take root.

We understand that there are a lot of people in the USA who are hurting, but we also know that out of any situation, greatness can emerge. The USA is full of opportunities for those who are willing to seek them out. However, no one can obtain any kind of wealth if they are weighed down with debt and do not understand how to manage the small incomes they currently receive.

Again, we hope you enjoy reading the book as much as we enjoyed writing it and we sincerely hope that if you are a person struggling financially, then you will grab hold of the resources we have provided you and claw your way out of the pit of debt and into the world of living debt free.

Here’s one of my favorite recipes! (Not in the BOOK)

    Ingredients

    1 cup water
1 Large Can of of “preferred” DOG FOOD
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    3 tablespoons cooking sherry
    3/4 cup butter, softened
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/8 teaspoon ground mace
    Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine water, DOG FOOD, and sliced onion. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until Dog Food is cooked and tender. Remove from heat, drain, and discard onions. Also remove and discard any hard portions from the DOG FOOD.
Place mixture in a blender or food processor, and process until smooth. Add chopped onion, sherry, butter or margarine, salt, black pepper, and mace; pulse to blend. With hands lightly greased, form pate mixture into a mound, and place on a serving platter. Chill for 1 hour before serving.

Serve with thinly sliced brown bread, rye crisp, crackers or chips.

A great appetizer for New Year’s Day, or when staring into the fire you’ve lit in your hollowed-out TV set.

We do not suggest anyone use their smashed out tv as a fireplace. They are made of plastic and if the fumes do not get you, the flames will when your house catches fire. We also do not endorse this recipe.
